No C label on the drone?

Then you have a Legacy drone
  • These drones were often released before 1-1-2024 (including homebuilt drones)
  • Never heavier than 25kg
  • The drone flies in the A3 subcategory
  • The drone flies in the A3 subcategory
  • To fly this you need the A1/A3 licence to fly needed
A1/A3 course

C0 label

  • The drone is lighter than 250 grams
  • The drone flies in the A1 subcategory
  • You don't need a pilot's licence
  • We do recommend taking the A1/A3 course for the basic rules
A1/A3 course

C1 label

  • The drone is lighter than 900 grams
  • The drone flies in the A1 subcategory
  • To fly this you need the A1/A3 licence to fly needed
A1/A3 course

C2 label

  • The drone is lighter than 4kg
  • The drone flies in the A2 subcategory
  • To fly this you need the A1/A3+A2 flying licence needed

  • Drone containing this C label is, for example, the DJI Matrice 350 RTK
