Training and examination

For the ALL IN drone licence, two exams are conducted, with the A1/A3 containing unlimited free retakes and the A2 one free retake. 99% of our candidates pass within one time. After successful completion of the course, a link is made directly to the RDW after which you can download your EASA drone certificate, which is an official EASA certificate. With both drone certificates in your pocket and a drone registered with the RDW, you are ready to fly.

Practical training
After successful completion of both exams, it's time to get into practice! We go through flight preparation, checking your drone for settings and making sure they are adjusted correctly. In addition, you will be taught certain flying skills so that you can confidently take off with your drone next time. Prefer to practice 'on dry land' first? This is also possible on our drone flight simulator, which is also very suitable for practice in bad weather.

The OmniDrones Academy ALL IN course is a Dutch-language course. Much of the training is available online. It includes an online exam for A1/A3 with 40 multiple choice questions and the online exam of 30 multiple choice questions for A2 under online supervision.

In addition, you will have to declare that you have gained some practical knowledge with your drone. Here we will help you with this, moreover, you do not have to take a practical flight test. In addition to the Certificate of Completion, you will then eventually receive your Skills Certificate.

With this training in your pocket, you will be allowed to fly in both A1/A3 and A2 categories. This means you are allowed to fly a drone up to 25 kilograms.

Keep in mind that the drone must be registered in many cases. The drone is allowed to fly a maximum height of 120 metres and must also remain within direct sight of the pilot. With a drone up to 4 kg in the A2, you are allowed to get up to 5 metres horizontal distance near people with a low-speed function. Without a low-speed function, it is 30 metres horizontal distance. However, there is a general ban on flying above (groups of) uninvolved persons. In A1/A3, the drone should stay at 150m from buildings, industry and recreational areas. In A2 only at 75m from built-up infrastructure.
